HOW TO CREATE A BUGS ACCOUNT

 

**IMPORTANT NOTES**

  • Do NOT create more than 6 IDs per IP, otherwise your accounts will be blocked.
    Change your IP every 6 accounts, this includes every device in your home wifi.
  • You can only verify up until 3 (three) accounts per PHONE NUMBER.
  • You will need a Google Play account to purchase the pass

 

HOW TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT (Android Users)

🌑 Download the app

🌑 Once downloaded, open the app and click on the gear icon at the top right corner

 

🌑 click ‘login/sign up’ at the top of the page

 

🌑 click ‘sign up for bugs account’ at the bottom of the page

🌑 click ‘register with email’

🌑  enter your information. Please note the password needs to be min. 6 and max. 20 characters, and contain a number and min. 2 special characters. Your date of birth should be entered as YYYYMMDD (example 20120814 = 14 august 2012)

 

🌑 Select your country and enter your phone number. Please note your country will be listed in Korean. If you don’t know how it’s written, you can use papago (or another translator) to find out, or contact us for help. Once you’ve entered your number, click the grey ‘confirmation’ box. A pop-up text will appear to say

 

 

🌑 Please insert the correct code and click the grey box to confirm (you can ask for a code to be sent again if necessary). Ensure all the boxes are selected, and complete your sign up by clicking the orange box at the bottom. (Please see end of this page if you receive an error while completing the registration)

 

🌑 Your sign up is complete! You can now buy or redeem a bugs pass and start streaming!

 

 

 

HOW TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT (iOS Users)

For iOS users, you will need to change your App Store location to South Korea (Korea, republic of).

🌑 in settings, click on iTunes & App Store

 

🌑 click on Apple ID & then view Apple ID

 

🌑 Click on ‘country/region’ & then ‘change country/region’

 

🌑 find ‘Korea, republic of’ and click to change your region

 

🌑  Enter your payment information, ensuring the location is Korea

 

🌑  After the location of your App store has been changed, open and find the bugs app. This is what the Bugs App should look like on the Itunes Store.

 

 

🌑 After installment of the Bugs app is complete, open it and click the gear icon

 

🌑 to login or sign up, click the text as shown in the picture below

 

🌑 click the person icon to create a new account (sign up/register)

 

🌑  Click to register with your email

 

🌑 Complete your information. Please note the password needs to be min. 6 and max. 20 characters, and contain number and min. 2 special characters. Your date of birth should be entered as YYYYMMDD (example 20120814 = 14 august 2012).

Your country’s name will be written in Korean, if you don’t know how it’s written you can use papago (or another translator) to find out, or contact us for help.

After entering your phone number, please click the grey box to verify.

POSSIBLE ERRORS DURING SIGN UP

🌑 if you receive the below error pop-up, it means your phone number has not been confirmed.

 

🌑 if you receive the below error pop-up, it means your password does not meet the requirements.
Your password must be a combination of upper and lowercase letters, numbers and at least 2 special characters (! @ # $ % ^ & * ? _ ~). Your password should be between 6-20 letters and blank spaces are not allowed.

 

🌑 if you receive the below error pop-up, it means the time to enter your phone verification code has run out. Please request a new code and verify within the given timeframe (you should see a countdown)
